Alcohol, Drugs & Accident Prevention Training (ADAPT)

This 4-hour course is required for all first time driver’s license applicants who are 18 and older and have not yet completed a Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) approved driver education course.

The student kit includes: 

• Student Workbook: 28 pg booklet for student to use throughout the course, 2025 edition
• Test: 10 question test, randomized to 4 versions, required to pass course 
• Blank certificate: to be filled out with student information upon completion; each certificate has a unique identifier recognized by the FLHSMV; Carbon copy allows delivery of one version to the student, with one remaining for your records
• State Assessment: Information processed & submitted to FLHSMV on your behalf
